The backerkit website is open until next Tuesday night, May 29.

Please try to complete your surveys by then. This will allow me to get accurate counts on all the books needed and to get your address to ship your books to. After the 29th the surveys will be locked down, meaning anyone that completes it after the deadline will only receive their rewards after everyone else has had theirs shipped.
The artists and cosplayers are working, a few are behind schedule but I am hoping they will still make the deadlines I set so we can get the production going on the books and stretch goal items. One completed artwork I can show is the Patriotika in Bikini by Elias Chatzoudis:

All backers of a physical book or cards will be receiving a 6x9 print of this. This art will also be the cover art for our upcoming Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con exclusive Patriotika #1 variant. I'll have more news on that show later this month, but speaking of shows, the Phoenix Comic Fest is now on here in Phoenix! If you are a backer come on by and let me know! I'd love to meet and chat with you and give ya an extra item with purchase. I've met a few backers already and you have all been wonderful.
Today(Friday) I will have AZ Powergirl Cara Nicole in Patriotika cosplay at our booth AA828 from 2-4pm signing the exclusive Patriotika Cosplay convention variant! We've only got a small amount so drop by and pick one up, and or take a photo with Cara as Patriotika! Here is the variant:

The Backerkit Surveys have started going out! And more art!

The Backerkit surveys have begun! As usuall only 5% of you will receive the survey, once that random 5% complete it, the remaining surveys will be sent out to everyone else. This is just the way backerkit does things. If you received yours please fill out the survey as soon as possible so we can get them out to everyone else. The surveys are just to collect your mailing address to send your books and rewards to. If you have any questions feel free to message via kickstarter or email me at [email protected]
I will have the backerkit up and running until next Friday, May 25th at midnight(most likely Saturday the 26th in the morning) before I lock down the surveys. If you complete the survey after it is locked down, chances are you will be receiving your books after everyone else does. A few days after the lock down I will begin distributing digital rewards. Physical rewards are scheduled for mid-late July, but this could change depending on artists turning in their art on time and production from the printers.
As for art from the artists, here is the artwork(card lettering will be added later) for the Zero G trading card with art by Alex Ronald:

As usual Alex delivered amazing work, and it will eventually become a cover for an upcoming Patriotika, most likely issue #2.
I'll have more updates next week, and next Thursday Phoenix Comic Fest begins! We'll have some exclusive variants for both Patriotika and Valkyrie Saviors and I am working on getting more fun stuff for the show! And if you can't make it to the show, we'll have the exclusives available on Etsy too while supplies last. One of the exclusives will be our first ever wraparound variant cover of Patriotika #1, this limited and numbered edition will be available in regular and chrome, In The City Wraparound by Danusko Campos:

Last but not least we have something in the works for the original cheeky chrome by Jeff West, I'll have more info once the artwork is completed.
The exclusives will be added to the shop Wednesday night, May 23rd at midnight until Monday May 28th. A few of these exclusives have very low number runs, so get there early before they are sold out.

Olympus Legions!
I am finally near the end of this illness, but I have been working on the backerkit. Unfortunately backerkit has redone their shipping side of things, so that set me behind in trying to work with them to get it done the way the previous ones were done. Now that it has all been squared away I will be finishing it up today and tomorrow,(Spending Mothers day with the family) and will do everything I can to get it out on Monday.
Artwork for the stretch goal rewards is coming in and I must say, it is looking fantastic. Check out the finished colors by Raymund Lee on the lines of Tone Rodriguez for this postcard that all physical item backers will be receiving:

It will most likely be one of the main covers for issue #3 too.
And the chibi stickers have arrived! All physical item backers will be receiving all 3 of these stickers in the stretch goal pack! These are the same high quality stickers as the ones from the Patriotika 1 kickstarter and Etsy shop:

If you went with digital or you want some extras I will have them for sale at the upcoming Phoenix Fan Fest. I am also planning a fun contest with these stickers later this year, so make sure to hang onto yours or take a picture of wherever or whatever you stick them on and save that picture.
About the Phoenix Fan Fest - it will be May 24-27 here in Phoenix Arizona. Being the home town show I will have a lot of big stuff I won't have at other shows - both physically big and rarity big. This includes variants with very low runs, local shop variants, 11x17 regular, chrome and Metal prints, possibly a few extra large 24x36 size prints and much more. I may also have our first ever T-shirts, but I am still testing different ones out:

We'll also have a Valkyrie Saviors variant by David Harrigan who will be at Phoenix Fan Fest for signing and an AZ Powergirl Cara Nicole variant of Patriotika #1, and she will be at our table signing for an hour, dressed as Patriotika!
Ok, now for something even bigger. As you know Marvel/DC cover artist/painter Lucio Parillo is working on one of the stretch goal art for a 6x9 print all physical book backers will be receiving. This will also be a cover for either an upcoming variant or issue #3. However, we have the chance to get the art in physical oil paint on canvas as opposed to digital paint! This is only possible however if someone is interested in buying the original art, 35cm x 50cm in size. The original art is not cheap - approximately $1400(depending on Euro conversion) + shipping from Italy. If there are any serious buyers interested in this, please let me know by sending me a message through kickstarter or email [email protected] . Payment would have to be through paypal. First come first serve since there will only be one. Here is the sketch the painting(digital or oil) will be made from:

Olympus Legions!
I apologize about the backerkit not going out yet. I fully intended to have the backerkit up today, but I have been ill for the past few days(since Thursday), mostly in bed and even had some pretty bad dehydration yesterday.
I am still under the weather today but I am working on the backerkit now. If all goes to plan it will be Wednesday, possibly Friday when I will have it ready. I'll post an update as we get closer if more time is needed.
